Ever have one of those days?

Yesterday was one of those days.... You know the kind. Nothing goes right, nothing gets done and everything just all around sucks. I haven't had one of those days in a long time. I whole heartedly believe that you and your attitude bring on those days and you are solely responsible for keeping them from happening.
So, in the spirit of making it a mild one of those days, I decided to find positives in everything, and thus making it a less bad one of those days.
So, when Nate's car had to be in the shop, leaving Teddy and I without a vehicle I decided that we needed to go for a walk, thus getting us some much needed exercise :-).
When I had trouble finding a room for my best friend's sister's out of town wedding, I was thankful when I did find a room and at a cheaper rate than the group rate at the "prefered" hotel.
When Nate told me that his car repair was going to cost close to $1000, instead of getting upset, I was thankful that we have the money in savings to pay for it and decided to put it on the credit card for now so that at least we get the credit card points for it :-) .

When one of my team members called me and asked if she could buy my last pack of catalogs, I wasn't upset that I had to pay for 2 day shipping in order to get more here in time for my next party, I was happy that she called me. I haven't heard from her in a while and am quite happy that she asked me for help :-) .

When the propane ran out while I was grilling dinner, I didn't get upset I was happy that it ran out just as dinner was done cooking :-) .
I think honestly, the part of yesterday that was the worst was the fact that a certain little boy was begging for my attention every second of the day. He did get lots of mommy time, but I think he sensed the fact that I was a little more stressed than usual and therefore had to be right on me all day. But there are worse people to be on you all day :-) .

I guess I really didn't have one of those days, it was more like a "it didn't go as planned, but at least it went" day.

It's all about attitude. Take one of those days and make it a not quite as planned day. Do that enough and you'll find that there'll be a lot less of those days happening.
